Show them that you have a positive, can-do attitude, that you constantly seek to innovate and improve processes and that you are willing to roll up your sleeves and get your hands dirty…whether it’s in your job description or not.
Don’t be afraid to include slightly out-of-the-box info on your resume. If you are in IT and helped HR with a project that added value to the overall business, include it! That’s the kind of added info that will help set you apart in an incredibly challenging job market.
